4 NEW plates have just arrived! Hockey fans will be pleased to learn we've just received a plate from Sidney Crosby and another from Alexander Ovechkin. Wouldn't those look awesome on a wall side-by-side, LOL.
Also new to the list, a Pittsburgh Penguins plate signed by the 2011 players as well as a plate from Brandon's very own celebrities - radio announcers from KX96 and The Farm.

As the Christmas momentum starts to pick up in our daily lives and working environments, End Hunger Brandon will begin to slow down its pace and resume all activities on December 27, 2011. Tickets for the big event will still be available at the Victoria Inn front desk and would make fantastic holiday gifts.

Shatner's Ready for the Heat
That's right, the Shatner plate is finally finished and ready to be fired in the kiln. Also going into the heat, Arlene Dickinson's plate (thanks for making it easy on us Arlene) and Israel Idonije's - Chicago Bears plate. Can't wait to see the final results - I'll post to the blog when they're done.

Press Conference Today at Fun Time Pottery
It's time to launch this project officially. We've asked our mayor, Shari Decter Hirst to join us at Fun Time Pottery and help us launch this exciting event. All the festivities start at 2:00 PM with a viewing of the first nine plates that have been completed. Following the announcement, tickets will be available at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre. There is a limited amount of tickets so get yours early.

2 More to Go
Well, it's been a busy two weeks: four plates have been completed, we received the William Shatner plate signed, the James Ehnes plate is in the kiln and only 2 more to finish before we're all caught up.
Still working on attaining signatures, we have calls in to Hugh Hefner, the Cake Boss, Oprah, Martha Stewart to name only a few - we'll let you know how it goes.

We've just received the Winnipeg Jets plate and it looks amazing!! Thank you to all the guys that were so generous in signing the plate!

Two Plates Complete
That's right, two of our plates have been clear-coated and fired by one of our favourite supporters Milly at Fun Time Pottery. They look absolutely wonderful!! We're going to photograph them and post as soon as possible. Can't wait to share them with you.

We are fortunate enough to have the super-athlete and six time olympic medal winner Cindy Klassen on our list for upcoming signings. The Winnipeg Jets will be contributing a plate as well as the former Jets captain Dale Hawerchuk. Did we mention Mike Myers has agreed to participate? Ok. well we're really excited.
